An invitation to sew your hopes for the future on a Coat of Hopes for the COP26 Pilgrimage

The UK will host the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow on 31 October – 12 November 2021. It is an international meeting on joint action to limit climate change and environmental damage across the world.  Highlighting this event is a pilgrimage from London to Glasgow stopping in Milton Keynes from 11 – to 13 September.  The organisers of this pilgrimage are Christian Climate Action.

An artist on the pilgrimage will be wearing a ‘Coat of Hopes’ made up of patches each representing a person or a group’s hopes for the future – theirs, their families, their locality, their world.

If you or a group of people you know would like to make one of the patches, please contact Margaret Broadhurst, tel: 07769 975846 or 01908 606217, email
