Carol Wood writes:
“This will be the third Stantonbury Ecumenical Partnership wide occasional talk we have organised. We previously had Paul Smith’s talk on his pilgrimage to Santiago and then a talk from the chief executive of Christian Solidarity Worldwide.
The subject of this talk will be ‘What does John’s gospel say about Christian belief and how does that compare with Muslim belief’. The format will be a short talk followed by a handout and some discussion. Lynn Hotton will be leading this talk . Lynn has been a faith teacher locally for several years and has extensive knowledge of different faiths. Not only is Lynn a dedicated Christian but she is also a very talented and enthusiastic speaker. Learning about other faiths and how they compare to Christianity is becoming more and more relevant in our lives as the faith structure of our society is changing significantly.
The talk will be held in St James Church, New Bradwell at 2.30pm on Friday 22nd October. All welcome.”
Date for your diary: The next talk will be by a member of Christians Against Poverty by Zoom on 19th November. More details to follow.
