Dear members and friends of the Milton Keynes Mission Partnership
We are writing to invite you to a Special General Meeting of the Milton Keynes Mission Partnership which will be held at Christ the Cornerstone Church, 300 Saxon Gate, Milton Keynes MK9 2ES on Wednesday 9th March 2022 at 7.30pm.
The purpose of this meeting is to hear what has happened since the last Assembly and to respond to the proposal below. This meeting will be immediately followed by conversation about how ecumenical mission in Milton Keynes can continue, introduced by a presentation from the Revd Tim Norwood, Anglican Area Dean.
This Special General Meeting proposes the dissolution of Milton Keynes Mission Partnership (Charitable Incorporated Organisation 1159204). The application for dissolution will be sent to the Charity Commission not later than 30th April 2022. There are no outstanding debts and remaining assets will be transferred to a charity with similar purposes.
Our constitution allows us to make decisions by general assent. If we need to take a vote, the categories of people shown in the document listed below will be eligible to vote.
