“Please find below details of 4 events in February run by Redeeming our Communities (ROC). We believe that these will be very useful events in connecting all sorts of community activity for the common good together creatively and well. This is a real opportunity for churches to be contributing to the wellbeing of the city and thus working towards our vision, MK: a City Alive to God.”

ROC (Redeeming Our Communities) has been commissioned by Thames Valley Police to deliver four Community Engagement events in February. ROC has considerable experience of hosting ‘ROC Conversations’, having conducted over 200 of them across the UK. The two hour event is simple, effective and positive. We bring statutory agencies, key community individuals and members of community groups together to celebrate the good work already taking place in the community. Between us, we then determine where any gaps in provision may be and, critically, see what each person present can offer to bridge the gap. The conversation always leads to action … and positive change in the local community.
You are invited to join us for one or more of the community engagement events. All events commence at 7pm and will conclude by 9pm:
- Tuesday 4th February Grange Farm, Christ the Sower School, MK8 0PZ, booking link www.roc.uk.com/grangefarm
- Wednesday 5th February Monkston Park, Community Centre, MK10 9PN, booking link www.roc.uk.com/monkstonpark
- Monday 24th February Water Eaton, Water Eaton Church Centre, MK2 3RR, booking link www.roc.uk.com/watereaton
- Tuesday 25th February Milton Keynes, The Ridgeway Centre, MK12 5TH. booking link www.roc.uk.com/miltonkeynes
The first three events are focused on the local areas near the venue, whilst the last event is aimed at the whole of Milton Keynes. The Conversations are open to all with an interest in the community.
